Petals & Paint Series

Join us for our new series of workshops at the Barns - Petals & Paint with local artist Liz Swan.

We have been chatting about a flowery arty collaboration for many years now and finally we have got some dates together.

Our first date in June will see all the beautiful early summer flowers to choose from - where the workshop will begin with a short talk on cutting and conditioning flowers to arrange. Then you will choose your blooms to arrange a lovely jam jar arrangement.

After a break for tea / coffee and homemade cake the fabulous Liz will talk you through how to capture your jam jar arrangement with oil pastels and watercolours.

All materials included and no experience necessary.

The second workshop in this series to be held in September will be painting Dahlias. Big beautiful bold dahlias. The workshop will start with a talk about growing dahlias and vase life and then choosing which ones you'd like to paint. After a short break for coffee and cake, Liz will take the reins and show you step by step how to paint these gorgeous flowers using acrylic paint.

All materials are included and no experience necessary
